Akar Elevator Motor Machine is a very well-known company in elevator sector in Turkey for 24 years as a manufacturer. 4 engineers who has revolutionary ideas and inventions have been continuously working on projects in order to bring important changes or improvements. Our company has fulfilled the requirements of ISO 9001-2000 quality certification system and got its certificate. Akar’s quality system has been documented by TUV according to ISO standarts. Elevator machine & motors, also safety devices are being manufactured conveniently with respect to EN 81-1 elevator standarts.

Thanks to hi-tech that made it easy for Akar to be able to export its technological products since 1993. Akar has been exporting %30 of its production to 22 countries and Akar is looking for new markets.

On the other hand, Akar manufactures bi-directional safety gears and bi-directional overspeed governers both of which have CE certificates(Liftinstituut-0400).

The factory was carried to new place in August 2007 with a 12.000 m² closed production area, total area 20.000 m². Hence, our productive delivery times has been shortened.

All engineering computations are being simulated on the computers by the use of information technology. The static, dynamic and electrical controls of our machine & motors are also being studied on computers. The point is to ensure the safety on close to real conditions.

Akar produces permanent magnet synchronous gearless motors between 1.3kw-35 kw. Gearless (synchronous) machines are at sale since 2007. Gearless motors are installed in various montages. These motorsa have permanent magnet ,low revolution and high torque.With compact body it is usefull for machie roomless aplications(MRL)
